Stansbury Cemetery

Glenn reported that “… we received as donations, 1 pallet of sod from Merrill Blake at Erda Sod, 1 pallet of Mulch from Home Depot, and a truckload of top soil from Rick Palmer at Adobe Rock as well as a morning’s worth of labor from 29 residents.” Sod was cut away around the trees, weed barrier was laid down and bark put in. 5 graves that had sunk were “raised” with soil and sod.

Entrance to Stansbury Park

Mary had 6 volunteers at the entrance. Weeds pulled, landscape manicured, waterfalls cleaned out, etc.

Parkview Restroom Painting

Gordon had 5 volunteers to paint, along with some of his staff from Stansbury Service Agency.

Solomon Park

For most of the time, it was just Scott and one volunteer.  They were joined for the last little bit by a family of 6.  They pulled weeds, put down a weed barrier, and spread gravel.

Causeway

Lauren had 4 volunteers who raked out the causeway and did garbage pick up.

Pickleball Court & Waterway

Tom headed up this project at Porter Way Park.  He had 20 volunteers who pulled weeks, racked out the area, trimmed trees, etc.

Donations for Ukrainian Refugees

Jolynn head up a donation center at the clubhouse.  People donated coats and Halloween costumes.

Parkview Ward Service Project

Last Wednesday, the Parkview Ward’s Elders Quorum chose Solomon Park as their focus for their Fathers & Sons service project. Here are the photos showing the park before and after their efforts. We deeply appreciate their dedication and hard work in supporting our community.
