The Clubhouse

The Stansbury Park Clubhouse is situated at #1 Country Club, overlooking Stansbury Lake, directly across from the Golf Course Pro Shop.

This community event center is ideal for hosting parties, weddings, family gatherings, banquets, meetings, and various community activities. It is available for rental to both residents and non-residents. Residents within the Stansbury Service Agency boundaries receive a discounted rate due to the building’s operation being subsidized by tax dollars.

The facility offers options to rent the upper floor, lower floor, or the entire building:

  • The upper floor features a spacious entry lobby, a large event room, a sizable kitchen, and access to an outdoor deck.
  • The lower floor includes a large meeting room opening to a patio, an adjoining bar area, a small kitchen, and a lobby, with access to an outdoor patio.
  • Both floors are equipped with restroom facilities, electric ranges, sinks, and refrigerator/freezers. Each floor can accommodate up to 100 guests, with tables and chairs provided.

For inquiries, to schedule a tour, or to book an event, please contact the Clubhouse at 435-882-6188 to arrange an appointment.

To secure a rental date, contracts must be signed and fees paid in advance. Residents must provide proof of residency to qualify for the discounted rate.

To reserve the entire clubhouse, including both upstairs and downstairs areas, please refrain from using the website. We request that you visit our office in person or give us a call.

To maintain proper heating and cooling in the Clubhouse, all doors and windows opening to the outside must remain closed during the event.

Clubhouse Policy

  • No person or organization shall be allowed to lease the Clubhouse for regular daily, weekly or monthly use. The clubhouse is considered to be an ‘Event Center’ rather than ‘Space for Rent’. The time and space in the Clubhouse are to be reserved for one-time events, such as weddings, funerals, family parties, business events, club meetings, political events, community events, etc. Space may be rented for multiple day events, but not on a regular basis.
  • The Clubhouse may be rented by residents and non-residents. Residents receive a discounted rental rate because they pay taxes, which are used to subsidize the operations of the Clubhouse.
  • Non-profit organizations may request free use of the Clubhouse for activities that are open to the general public. Free use is limited to the conference room on the main floor, unless authorization is given by the Service Agency to use other parts of the building.
  • Resident families of military personnel may have free use of the Clubhouse for the purpose of having a going away or welcome home party for their soldier. Non-resident families may rent the Clubhouse, at the resident rate, for the same purposes.
  • The Service Agency reserves the right to deny rental or free use of the Clubhouse to any and all individuals or organizations.
  • Any exceptions to this policy must be authorized by the Service Agency Board of Trustees.

Free Use Policy

  • Free use of SSA facilities is limited to non- profit organizations holding meetings or events that are of benefit to the community, as a whole. Persons or organizations holding commercial or for-profit events are not allowed free use of SSA facilities. No person or organization may use SSA facilities for free events that are meant to be advertising for a commercial enterprise. Any commercial venture using the parks or greenbelts, as a part of its business activity, may not set up signage or transact business within the park or greenbelt boundaries.
  • Free use of the Clubhouse is limited to the main floor conference room, unless otherwise authorized by management or the Service Agency Board of Trustees.
  • Organizations or individuals, using SSA facilities for free, are subject to all of the same rules and policies, as apply to paid rentals.
  • Government agencies, providing services to the community, as a whole, may qualify for free use of SSA facilities, and likewise are subject to all of the same rules and policies that apply to paid rentals.
  • Charitable organizations wishing to hold events for the benefit of a worthy cause, as determined by the Board of Trustees, may be granted free use of SSA facilities.
  • Resident military personnel being deployed into harm’s way, or returning from such deployment, are allowed free use of SSA facilities for a farewell or homecoming gathering. Non-resident military personnel are offered the resident rate for similar gatherings.
  • The SSA does not rent or reserve the grassy areas, playgrounds, and non-pavilion picnic areas within its parks and greenbelts, with the exception of the sports fields and facilities. Except for sports fields and facilities that have been assigned to designated sports programs, all SSA facilities may be used on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • The SSA Board of Trustees reserves the right to allow, limit or deny free use of any, or all, SSA facilities, to any individual or group, at anytime, excepting current or past Board Members. Further, in the event of conflict between conflicting requests for free use, the SSA Board of Trustees reserves the right to resolve the conflict in the manner selected by the Board in its sole discretion.
