Stansbury Park Fall Cleanup Projects

We are working hard as the Stansbury Community Cares committee to prepare for
September 7th- a national day of remembrance, where throughout the country, communities gather to serve and be served.

Many projects throughout the park have been identified by the agency, volunteers, and through community comments. Many are outdoor needs, but there are several roles that need to be filled in terms of directing volunteers, assisting with refreshments, and others that don’t require physical exertion.

All of these are listed on the volunteer website, JustServe.org. Creating a profile is simple and takes just a few minutes. Once a profile is created, filter the search for a 5-mile radius and search Stansbury Park. At this point, you will see all the various projects we are hoping to help with on September 7th, and ideally on an ongoing basis.

Our committee is made up of concerned residents who want to improve this pretty place we are privileged to call home. We have enjoyed getting to know one another as volunteer committee members and look forward to getting to know
many of you, too.
