The 5k went really well. We had 150-200 participants do the 5k. There were many more that did not participate in the 5K but came and made donations for the food drive. We ended up having four large boxes full of food, around 200 pounds. At the event we had anyone who was interested, write what they were most thankful for in chalk on the sidewalk. Participants loved this idea and were eager to add to the sidewalk chalk. You may not have seen Monday after all the rain, but it was pretty neat.
